HOT ! Modesto 13oz Natural Rinsed Denim

This denim traces back to one of the first fabrics Freenote ever used. Co-founder Matt traveled to Kuroki Mills in Japan to recreate it from the ground up, spending over a year developing this custom cloth exclusively for Freenote.

The result is a 13oz denim woven with 100% natural indigo warp yarns and a subtly tinted weft that gives the fabric a deeper, richer tone. It’s left unsinged, meaning the surface keeps a slightly “hairy” texture that feels closer to vintage deadstock denim than anything overly polished.

Despite the substantial 7x7 yarn construction, the 13oz weight keeps things breathable and comfortable. After cutting and sewing, each pair is rinsed for a soft, broken-in feel right out of the gate.

A great option if you want something with real character that still works through the warmer months.
