This stonewashed abstract silk rug is available exclusively at Lindas Barn.
the composition of such a unique piece consists of 60% of the best pure Chinese silk, with 40% undyed handspun afghan wool and handspun natural allo from the Katmandu valley.
The colors in this piece are natural tweeded light beige, taupe and brown in varying depths with all the three fibers interwoven together giving varied interest
The stonewashing has been a decades long process developed by us at our restoration plant in Oushak Turkey. This stonewashed process gives a subtle sheen to the silk yet gives the appearance and texture and feel of an antique rug.
Actual dimensions are: 9’7” x 14’
It has been finished by hand washing and blocking in Oushak Turkey
