HOT ! Anima Opal Piece with Pearls

Opals were once said to be \"Bad Luck,\" a myth made up by the Diamond Industry to decrease competition from these illuminating and fascinating marvelous stone creatures. They are anything but bad luck.

The word opal is derived from the Sanskrit word “upala” meaning “valuable stone.” In ancient times, the Greeks thought opal to be the “tears of Zeus” and prized it as valuable as diamonds. 

Opals are the alchemists of the mineral world.....stones that hold not just color, but the phenomenon of light itself. Unlike most gems that are defined by a single hue, opals are alive with movement, revealing different facets depending on angle, mood, and illumination. This gives them their essential magic.

Opals don’t reflect color; they create it through microscopic silica spheres that bend light into rainbows.

Here, we played with one of our original Sacred Fire Opal designs and added something that would not normally \"fit\" into the piece.... the sacred Pearl, which is GROWN, not polished. And we could not love the pairing more.
